AIR JORDAN 6 “WASHED DENIM” RELEASE DATE

According to the rumors, the Air Jordan 6 “Washed Denim” is set to drop on December 28th in Adult and Grade School sizes.

The date is not yet confirmed so keep it locked on the Six Figure Sneakerhead sneaker reselling blog.

AIR JORDAN 6 “WASHED DENIM”: A DETAILED LOOK

The Levi’s inspired sneaker is sure to turn heads in the unique material colliding on an iconic silhouette.

Jordan Brand showcases different denim shades throughout the panels of the classic canvas, pinned with a tan leather middle tongue.

The blue denim hue varieties include a faded light material at the toe box that makes its way towards the quarter panel. This panel is home to the perforated 3M vents.

You can see the darker denim variation sneaking in at the mudguard, until it steals the show at the heel counter and upper.

In addition, the heel counter encompasses a black Jumpman stitching and a shining white streak on the iconic pull-tab design.

While the outsole offers a smooth “Sail” colorway, a dark black midsole divides the outsole and upper. Anyone lucky enough to wear these is sure to add comfort and traction to each of their steps.

The laces identify by the same colorway as the original Jordan 6 Infrared, however, the tan leather tongue is a stark difference than most Jordan 6 collaboration.

Appropriately enough, the tan leather tongue compliments the light and dark blue denim streaks and seems to bring the design together as a whole.

AIR JORDAN AND DENIM

Although a denim and Jordan 6 partnership is one-of-a-kind in its own right, this isn’t the first time Jordan Brand followed suit with Levi.

The Air Jordan 4 has been splashed with denim, even featuring the iconic Levi tag branding on the quarter panel.

What sets the Jordan 4 Levi’s Denim apart from the Jordan 6 “Washed Denim” is that the Jordan 4 features a consistent denim hue throughout the sneaker.

In addition, that denim even captures the midsole and air bubble.

As most limited Jordan 4 sneakers do, the sneaker’s resale value is off the charts.

Do you wear a size 10? That’ll run you $800.

If you copped on the day of the release, the sneaker would have cost a modest $225. Therefore, a pair could have profited a reseller an easy few hundred bucks.

But what if you acquired more than one pair?

Jordan 11 Retro Low Golf No Denim Allowed

Not long after the Air Jordan 11 Low Golf “Safari Bred” collaboration, enter the “No Denim” iteration. Ironically enough, this sneaker features various denim elements.

Similar to the Jordan 6 “Washed Denim”, this denim-intensive iteration also encompasses two distinct denim hues.

The upper includes a darker tone, while the lighter tone starts from the mudguard toward the heel counter.

A translucent outsole and the pink lettering on the tongue sandwiches the denim material to round out the well-done design.

While the retail price to golf in these sneakers was $200, the resale market demands almost twice the amount. In other words, another denim sneaker that would have made a sneaker reseller do the Birdman hand rub.

To name just a few are the Jordan Travis Scott 6 and Jordan 6 Aleali May—both of which boast a return-on-investment well over 100%.

Jordan 6 “Washed Denim” Resale Guide

There are various ways to resell sneakers: there are high-risk options that will bring you a higher profit by opting out of fees, however scammers may deter you from that route.

You can go the higher-risk-higher-reward route via Offer-up, facebook groups, or twitter.

On the other hand, selling on trusted platforms like Stockx, Goat, and eBay will demand acceptance to their selling fees, in return for their authorization and middleman services.

As you’d expect, opting for a trusted middleman route is less risk but less of a profit from your hard-earned hustle.

With that being said, we find the Jordan 6 “Washed Denim” already north of its retail price on the selling-giant website eBay.

Resellers like this one attempt to flip as many pairs as they can, as he’s looking to resell almost twice the $225 retail price of the Jordan 6 “Washed Denim.”

Since the release for the sneaker is exactly a month away, there have not been any recorded sales as of yet, however, it’s safe to say these will have profitable resale value.

Why?

Based on how well the prior denim collaborations have done with the classic Jordan 4 line, these should perform similarly.

In addition to the adult sizes, grade school sizes are also releasing, which could also be deemed profitable. As for the adult sizes, a resale prediction between the range of $400 to $500 will be quite possible.

On December 28th, the release of the Jordan 6 “Washed Denim” comes as a late Christmas present for sneaker resellers. To assure it won’t slip your mind, consider following our Instagram page and join our email listing.
