12 Most Hyped Shoes to Resell In 2020

Although January 2020 will not be engulfed with as many hyped shoes as December 2019, we’ve still got the rest of the year to look forward to, right?

The year of 2019 as a whole was flooded with exclusive collaborations, Ye releasing different models, Jordan Brand blessing the sneaker world with their iconic iterations, and various luxurious brands giving a sping on their own streetwear makeovers.

Additionally, February will become a hype-sneaker redemption month after a dry January, so be motivated.

However, don’t hit the snooze on the month of January altogether, as a Nike x CLOT collaboration is looming and Ye looks to drop the first Yeezy 350 of 2019 soon after.

If you want to start the new year by either ramping your resell business or maybe you’ve finally decided to start, make sure to check out the popular Hypemaster Playbook for all your reselling essentials.

Furthermore, marking your calendars for the mentioned sneakers won’t be enough.

For notifications throughout the year, make sure to opt into Six Figure Sneakerhead’s email list.

Following the aforementioned blue and black color schemes, enters the “Rose Gold Silk” colorway that follows similar construction.

Thanks to Complex and Yeezy Mafia, we have early release pictures, however, there is no resale value from Stockx since it is too early.

The shoe looks like a combination of the Yeezy Azaels and Yeezy 350 v2, and includes the Yeezy brand’s popular primeknit upper.

In addition, it appears that there will be hints of 3M across the side panel.

Finally, black shoelaces are featured in the middle atop an all-white outsole.

Sacai Nike LDWaffle White Nylon via Sneaker Freakers
Release Date: Spring 2020
Retail: $160
Peak Projected Resell: $500
Potential Profit: $340

Rumored to release February 2020, the Sacai LDWaffle is slated for a headline release, but it will be difficult to match their huge success last year.

The shoe will be similar to the popular model we’ve seen before of the LDWaffle, this time, featuring a monochromatic black and white colorways.

In addition, the double layers and double Nike swoosh sneaker continues to exist on the model. Last year, the original blue and red colorway was the most profitable sneaker of the various low-cut and high package.

Nike Sacai LDwaffle via Stockx

The resale on this particular colorway reached over $1,000 during its pre-release days and the individuals that held the shoe were rewarded with higher resale payout.

With that being said, the looming release of more low-cut models should bode well in the resale market.

In laymens term, if you can get your hands on either black or white for retail, check out quickly.

12. air jordan 1 new beginnings package

Jordan 1 New Beginnings Pack via Sneaker News

Peak Projected Resell: $800
Potential Profit: $440

Jordan Brand introduces the sneaker community to the Air Jordan 1 High “New Beginnings”, rumored to release in February of 2020.

Last year, the sneaker community was gifted countless colorways of the iconic Jordan 1 editions.

Albeit some sported atrocious colorways, there were more colorways that would warrant one to wear the respective shoe with every fit they could imagine.

The sneaker community knows if Jordan Brand decides to apply red to a Jordan 1, the move will spark many people’s interest.

Jordan 1 New Beginnings Pack

The hyped iteration features a mostly red upper construction, with the toe and side panels in an all-white look.

In addition, buyers will find a hangtag that includes Michael Jordan’s classic “Jumpman” dunk with the pair.

Some sneakers can be difficult to project, however, Jordan Brand made it easy to judge these, they’ll be worth the retail purchase, don’t hesitate on these.

As we close the year 2019 we want to thank all our readers and members of Six Figure Sneakerhead.

I speak for everyone from the Six Figure Sneakerhead staff as we say thank you for soaking in our information last year and hope everyone has had a phenomenal start to the new year.

If you haven’t already, please peep our January hyped shoe edition as well which includes the new Nike x CLOT collaboration that is to release this weekend, and much more.

Until next time.

Disney x Gucci 2020 Collection: Does it Have Resell Value?

The start to a new decade is marked by quite an unconventional collaboration between Gucci, a fashion powerhouse, and Disney, a conglomerate which has its hands in almost everything.

Disney and Gucci have collabed on a Mickey-Mouse themed fashion line that you can purchase online or in-stores.

There’s a lot to look at from accessories to shirts to sneakers. But we all know what you’re here for right? You’re here to know whether these sneakers will be able to make you a hefty profit or not. Well, for that you have to keep reading.

Gucci has released five pairs of footwear, each customized with a mickey motif. So let’s get into each sneaker.

1. Gucci x Disney Mickey Rython

All images are official from Gucci

The Rython is available in it’s all time signature “Ivory Leather” color and has a massive mickey-mouse graphic on the midpanels with “Gucci” imprinted on the back panel of the pair. The pair currently sells for $890 on Gucci’s website and within its boutique.

2. Gucci x Disney Mickey Distressed Ace

The pre-distressed Gucci Ace

Moving on to the second pair: the distressed Ace sneaker. The Ace sneaker has become synonymous with Gucci branding. Their simplicity is what ignites demand for it.

Therefore, it is no surprise that they launched a distressed version of the Ace sneaker with the Mickey motif on the mid panels along with an Orange leather detail at the back. Like the Rython, the Ace also sport an “Ivory Leather” color. The current price of this pair is $790.

3. Gucci x Disney Mickey Print Mini GG SUPREME CANVAS

Classics collide in an interesting contrast.

The third pair: a mini GG Supreme Canvas with a Mickey Mouse print along with Green leather detail at the back sets very easy on the eyes. The color scheme is, dare I say, perfect? Even the Mickey Mouse print compliments the whole vibe. These pairs will set you back $670.

4. Gucci x Disney Mickey Print Mini GG SUPREME CANVAS Slip On

Mickey all over Gucci

Moving on to the fourth. We have a mini GG Supreme Canvas with a Mickey Mouse print on a slip-on sneaker. A brown leather trim accompanied with a green and red Web loop at the heel is somewhat a niche demand. The cost of the slip-on is $630.

5. Gucci x Disney Mickey GG Slides

Cozy af.

Finally, the fifth pair are the slides. The slides sport a beige mini GG Supreme Canvas with Mickey graphics. The slides themselves are in a brown leather color which creates a splendid monotonous color scheme with the Supreme Canvas. Anyone who wants to pick these up, can buy them for $370.

Now let’s talk about making money rather than spending it. Now you know as they say, a penny saved is a penny earned. Therefore, before spending hundreds of dollars on these latest releases let’s take a peek into the history books.

Supreme X Gucci:

Any self-acclaimed reputable sneaker head is well aware of Supreme. We all know it’s market power is driven by its scarcity and whenever it collaborates with a big luxurious powerhouse, things are bound to get shaken.

However, although there were no official Supreme New York x Gucci collabs, the brand does share a few models with the Supreme name.

Let’s take a look at these classics:

Gucci Ace GG Supreme Bees

The Ace, a staple in any sneakerhead’s closet. The mini GG canvas has become synonymous with luxury sneakers all around. However, for anyone looking to make a profit off of these, please stay away. The shoes retail for $650 and are sold for a profit margin of only $20. This is not well worth the time and effort.

Gucci Common GG Supreme Black

Whilst the all black look may sweep your hearts, the profit margins definitely won’t. The shoes retail for around $550 and they resell for the same amount.

Gucci Dublin GG Surpreme Black

The Supreme X Gucci saw the release of this slip-on pair. The shoe has a mini GG black Supreme Canvas. Whilst these may have caused a spark in demand the moment they were launched, the markets quickly stabilized themselves soon after. What this means is that there is potentially no resale value of these slip-ons.

Is there any re-sale value of Gucci X Disney? Ah yes, the “thousands of dollars’ question. Is it worth investing in this launch? Well we have to consider a few things:

Disney ≠ Streetwear

No one associates Mickey Mouse and his playhouse with streetwear and rightly so. Disney is not in the fashion industry and its branding is exclusively towards the younger pre-teen audience. The demand for these pairs will mostly be linked to diehard Disney fans but I don’t see it reaching the masses (where the money is).

Previous Collaborations

The purpose of reviewing past Gucci models was to get a historical perspective on how well Gucci does in reselling.

And from the results of it we don’t have much to be hopeful about as most of the sneakers are resold for either their cost or for bare minimum profits.

A glimmer of Hope: Resale on the Gucci Rython

Now now, it’s not all doom and gloom. If you have your heart set on this collection, then I would recommend you to purchase the “Rython” sneaker.

Here’s why:

Gucci Rython Vintage Logo (W)

The Gucci Rython is probably the most profitable Gucci Sneaker out there. This version, instead of a Mickey Mouse graphic, includes a massive Gucci logo on the mid-panel. These retail for $890 but can be resold for almost $1000.

The Gucci X Disney Rython retails for the same price, $890 and if the past is anything to learn from then you can probably make a few hundred bucks from reselling the pair.

Remember sneakerheads, that the price of any commodity depends on largely it’s supply. The fashion houses know this fact. That’s why Supreme is so infamous with regards to its launches, because they use scarcity as an opportunity to raise prices. Therefore, always be on the lookout for scarce items.

Alright that’s all for today sneakerheads.

Dec 2019: eBay Eliminates Sneaker Seller Fees to Appeal Sneakerheads

At last, eBay makes the monstrous move that it should have done some time ago before the likes of Stockx and GOAT took control of a money-making market eBay let slip out of their hands.

eBay Wants in the Sneaker Reselling Market

ebay’s move to appeal sneakerheads

The well-known e-commerce site has opted into eradicating their fees for all North American sellers for any sneakers that are priced at least $100.

eBay announced this news on December 17th, 2019 to break away from their 10% fee that adheres to all sales, including sneakers, until now.

This large fee, along with various other motives, was why sneaker sellers avoided selling on the e-commerce platform.

The aforementioned motives that can deter sellers are scammers, who try to purchase items with no intentions of a legitimate transaction.

eBay and Counterfeiter Products

The other major motive is the plethora of counterfeit products throughout the site sold from both overseas and domestic areas.

Being that eBay is a behemoth of a company, they required data-intensive reasonings for a successful debut.

eBay found there were 6 million sneakers sold on their platform in 2019 and found concrete projections stating that these 6 million sales could reach 6 billion by 2025.

The OG of sneaker reselling credentials still belongs to eBay, and they’re still doing enormous sale numbers when it comes to other various styles and product exchanges between buyers and sellers.

The eBay Platform

However, eBay’s new move exposes their desire to become top-dog once again in the sneaker market, as all eyes have shifted to Stockx and GOAT in modern times.

eBay Appeals to Sneaker Resellers

As a result, eBay realizes by eradicating their selling fees, in particular for sneakerheads, that money will go into the pockets of the sellers who will reinvest that money for more purchases.

Before diving into the nightmare stories that are told about in the eBay realm, the largest reason sneakerheads turned to Stockx and GOAT is because, frankly, it’s just too hard to even start on eBay.

eBay’s Negative Motives

Most consumers want a procedure of trust or social proof to give them the confidence to purchase from someone or a company.

For instance, the online selling giant Amazon, has a review system that gives their customers confidence knowing that other people have also purchased the item.

Likewise, one can find eBay sellers with hundreds of reviews to sellers with little to no reviews.

In fact, it can take years to build quality reviews on eBay, thus taking a long time to generate confidence from buyers.

As one would assume, there’s a strong correlation between the amount of reviews with the seller versus the seller’s sales performance.

Furthermore, even an aged account could still suffer in the world of eBay. For example, an eBay seller could have years of excellent reviews, but a minimal mistake could lead to a world of trouble.

Reviews Can Hurt Sellers

Even one negative comment could put make hundreds of buyers uneasy, and as a result, look elsewhere to purchase.

This is why Stockx and GOAT have been taking the sneaker market by storm, as they not only market authenticity front and center before anything else, the seller and buyer are trusting an entity, not just one person.

Goat and Stockx

Because it’s not just sneakers that they sell, it’s limited and rare sneakers that make their way to Stockx and GOAT storage.

Naturally, sneakers like these have a stark difference from a general release shoe like a Nike Flyknit that are sold in million units in stock.

A limited stock means higher demand and higher resale value, and as a result, counterfeits are much more frowned upon—feared even.

This reason alone propels online streetwear resell giants like Stockx above their eBay counterparts.

Sellers can enjoy peace of mind knowing that their products are being authenticated by professionals who will not return the shoes or attempt a fraudulent return.

On the other side of the spectrum, the buyer can sleep at night realizing that their purchases, which can sometimes be as much as their rent bill, are authenticated thoroughly.

These are services absent to the likes of eBay, but for sneaker resellers, the service alone is why Stockx and GOAT is their go-to reselling platform.

eBay Moving Forward

Now that the marketplace adheres to zero selling fees for its North Americans seller community on any sneakers sold above $100, Stockx and GOAT are put on notice.

Unfortunately, the damage might have already been done to eBay, as a result of their long-time complacency.

In addition to the buying and selling worries, scams, counterfeits, their partnership with PayPal can also cause problems for sellers.

Albeit, PayPal provides a much-needed service, however, Stockx and GOAT have their own payout service.

Moreover, PayPal can sometimes be an obstacle in itself when problems arise.

For instance, if you’re selling goods with PayPal, the funds are not released, for new sellers, until the tracking proves the item has reached its destination.

This means if there are any refunds, you will need to speak with a different entity.

If eBay plays its cards right, they could take over again. In my own opinion, they should create their own authentication center and mimic Stockx and Goat.

Since they already have trusted sellers and buyers, it could benefit them immensely.

eBay is Coming

Stockx and GOAT may either be trembling in their boots or they’ve come so far that this move by eBay may not phase them—time will tell.

Something eBay, Stockx, or GOAT does not have, however, is the Hypemaster Playbook—only Six Figure Sneakerhead has that for all your reselling essentials.

In addition, we have the most profitable shoes of December still worth a read.

If you’re going to sell on eBay, be cautious and stay alert. If it’s too good to be true, it is. More money is more money but sometimes, it’s not worth potential hassle.

Good luck everyone until next time.

Doernbecher Collection 2019 Resale Recap

OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital has a long-standing relationship with Nike, as their unique sneaker collaborations have produced both coveted and sentimental sneakers.

Doernbecher 2019 Collection

This year’s release pack was second to none, as multiple pairs were released this prior Saturday.

There was not one designed without adhering to symbolic references to the patients they embodied.

Doernbecher 2019 Collection with Patients

Each sneaker immortalized the struggles and adversity Doernbecher’s patients fought arduously to be where they are today.

In addition, the sneaker production is a testament to their victory in their respective fight against the disease.

Not only does each shoe tell an individual’s story, but the kicks are also aesthetically pleasing and creatively sound.

Since there were multiple pairs that released, each sneaker is making its own trend in the resale market. Keep up with notifications by following our Instagram page.

Six Figure Sneakerhead’s team is filled with sneaker-geeks and summarizing how each is doing in the resale world is admittedly enjoyable, however, it will also help determine which shoe is worth a hold or bricked.

The shoe pays homage to Ethan Ellis, who was one of the patients from the hospital and a TCU Horned Frogs fanatic.

The TCU Horned Frogs out of Forth Worth, Texas represents the same violet and black colorways that douse this Jordan Brand shoe.

The retail price of the shoe was at a $200 price point, however, the resale price is doing well. The size 9 rendition of the sneaker has slightly declined to about $260, thus a decent $60 profit-for now.

Look for under-cutting sellers attempting to quickly flip the shoe to continue reducing the resale value.

After this under-cutting junction in time has passed, the value of this particular shoe of the Doernbecher package should do the best based on the Jordan brand model and unique colorway, thus, a congratulations to Ethan Ellis is warranted.

Nike’s React technology meets Doernbecher with this loud pink shoe. Also, the clamor in colors and glitter is a nod to one Kahleah, a patient that benefited from Doernbecher’s life-saving services.

Engulfed in her favorite emojis to traumatic brain injury symbologies, the shoe boasts creativity and personality. As a result, the resale value of the sneaker correlates with a positive trend.

An individual hoping to profit on a pair of this historical collaboration would have needed to acquire smaller sizes, specifically under size 7.5

For example, the size 6 is receiving a fair market value of around $300, which is more than double its $130 retail value.

Due to a moderately popular model, the Nike React Element 55, the shoe should do well long term in the resale market.

Viewing the sneaker at first glance would make one believe the shoe to be cluttered in design, however, looking closer reveals otherwise.

The shoe displays the empathetic patient Desiree’s wishes to include everyone that holds sentimental value, including her therapy cat.

Although the idea and concept is touching and immortalizes her journey forever, it did not transition in the resale market in the same token.

With a fairly low retail price of $90, an individual attempting to acquire the shoe in the resale market will still have to pay above the retail—but hardly.

The size 9 is reselling slightly north of $100, which is hardly a profit at this moment in time.

Although many limited shoe’s value rises in relation to time, the model of this particular shoe isn’t one of the more popular styles.

As a result, the fair market value of the shoe in the resale market should not rise above $150 long-term.

The Nike and Doernbecher product aligns with Sawyer Miller’s long-term treatment struggles and adversity. In addition, the shoe aligns itself with decent post-retail resale value—only to increase in the long run.

Similar to some other Doernbecher models, this shoe features better resale prices with smaller sizes. Specifically, sizes under 7.5 feature a resale profit of over $50.

Holding this shoe could be beneficial, but only if you have a size lower than the aforementioned 7.5.

Although the shoe that symbolizes a child’s kidney transplant is last on this list, it certainly is not least.

The patient’s name is Bransen, and you will find his “Boom” nickname in bold on the air bubble, however, will the resale value on this sneaker boom as well?

When it comes to sneaker reselling, extrapolating and projecting shoe resell prices, there’s a variety of moving parts.

The negative element about the Air Max Triax 96 Doernbecher is that stock is still available on Nike.

In the resale world that’s frankly abysmal.

With that being said, it’s not worth mentioning a resale price for the sneakers. Although the symbolic images of the patient is unique and moving, the resale price is underwhelming.

The projected resale value in the Doernbecher collection, as far as this article is concerned, was minimally influenced by the past Doernbecher and Nike collaboration resale value. While some pairs from past collections are doing poorly, some are now valued well over $1,000.

Some of these statistics were based on how long ago the respective sneakers released.

One of Nike’s many popular sneaker lines, the SB Dunk Low, was used for a collaboration palette in 2018.

The shoe was for a tribute to Joey Bates who was treated by the life-saving hospital for his muscular dystrophy disease—making his body constantly weak.

The resale value of the sneaker is four times what it is now, in as short as just a year.

December of 2014 brought out a partnership of Nike and Doernbecher again, this time, paying homage to Caden Lampert’s struggles with Guillain-Barre syndrome.

In addition, the Jordan 8 concept was illustrious with its vibrant blue and the crowd-pleasing icy translucent outsole.

The shoe has beaten all odds in the resale market, as it’s close to covering $1,000.

The difference between the two aforementioned sneakers is that one was designed over five years ago while the other released just last year.

As a result, the resale value formula seems to be acquainted with the type of model than mere longevity alone.

The Doernbecher partnership with Nike is one of those heartfelt stories that poses as a confirmation that many good-hearted acts still occur each year, even from retail-behemoths like Nike.

While the resale monetary value of the Doernbecher models vary in how well—or how well they don’t—do for resale, we can’t disregard the respective shoes true humanitarian symbology.

Nevertheless, the shoes from the 2019 collection can certainly make sneaker resellers money, so congrats if you managed to obtain one of these coveted sneakers.

Also, make sure to check out month’s top profitable shoes of the month to help you maximize profits.

Take care everyone and good luck on the releases this week.

One of the past popular models is the Post Malone Crocs “Barbed Wire”, featuring in an all-yellow base that sold out in minutes.

The edition released in December of 2018, making it back-to-back months that the multi-platinum-recording artist embarked in the designer world.

The shoe came with six distinctive Jibbitz charms that gave a nod to Posty, as they immortalized parts of his music career and characteristic.

In case you didn’t know, Jibbitz are customizations and decorations that you can attach on the holes of Croc shoes in order to personalize them to your heart’s desires.

Post Malone x Crocs Dimitri Clog

Footwear manufacture Croc opted to begin a “Come As You Are” campaign that ignited the teamwork with the talented rapper Post Malone.

Post Malone x Crocs Dimitri Clog

Who better than Post Malone to be apart of such a collection, as he embodies “free spirit” and authentic personality from his personality, tattoos, and clothing.

The Post Malone x Crocs Dimitri Clog features the common Classic Clog silhouette and also six custom-designed Jibbitz charms.

In regards to the Jibbitz charms, it encompasses Post Malone’s “Stay Away” tattoo and his branding logo.

Post Malone x Crocs Dimitri Clog

When wearing them without the charms at all, the shoe remains unique, as it will feature a baby devil face motif.

His trademark “Posty Co.” is inscribed on the rear side of the shoe, and the toe of the shoe.

Also, the side of the shoe features the Crocs signature that represents the unique partnership of the two entities.

Although unexpected, the collaboration sold out in minutes.

On Tuesday, December 10th, it can be expected that this rendition of the Post Malone and Croc relationship will result in similar outcomes.

Southlake, Texas—One of the smaller and wealthier cities surrounding Dallas, Texas is a town by the name of Southlake.

Post Malone Working at Chicken Express

The city is relevant because this town just so happens to resonate with a special part of Post Malone’s heart, as it was the home to the rapper’s former employer: Chicken Express.

Post Malone Working at Chicken Express

The Chicken Express in Southlake decided to have a new menu addition this week, “The Posty Special.”

In addition to the economical price point of just six-dollars, the combination meal encompasses a box of chicken, fries—and a free pair of Crocs, just in case you wanted to know.

The Crocs, of course, are brought to them by Post Malone himself. Well, the Grammy-nominated artist did not show physically, but a representative did.

Post Malone Fans

It was reported by CBS Dallas and Fort Worth that while the rapper was absent, thousands of fans were very much present, wrapped around the building.

Comedy ensued when it reminded people of his 2018 interview with Vanity Fair, as a young Posty claimed he worked at the Chicken Express so he could one day purchase some Versace shoes.

The lucky fans at the Chicken Express in Southlake were able to grab the pairs for free, however, make sure to acquire the $59.99 pair however you can, because the resale price will be much higher.

The innovative clog silhouette includes dark hues on the classic Croc canvas.

In addition, the blue and black camo pattern are doused on the exaggerated chunky outsole.

The ever-popular pivotable backstraps and adjustable hook can be found in the rear side. Meanwhile, the sides of the strap feature the letter “P”, presumably attributing to Post Malone’s contribution in the shoe.

As you can see, the Post Malone Crocs Duet Max Clog is performing extremely well in the resale market.

Inasmuch so, that the size 7 Post Malone Crocs are reselling for over 400% return-on-investment.

Although after the release, expect the price to come back down to earth; Expect the fair market value of the rapper’s Crocs to hold a resale value of around $100 to $150.

That being said, it can be stated with high confidence that acquiring a pair of these limited sneakers for retail will be beneficial to your bank account. That is, if you intend on reselling it.

They’re great if you want to rock them for personals too, of course.

Post Malone Crocs Barbed Wire’s resale market value has shaped out to become a sneaker reseller’s dream.

In just one full year from its December 2018 release, the Croc has found itself to be more than eight times its retail value of $60.

In other words, if you’re able to purchase the shoe in multiple quantities tomorrow, do it.

Post Malone’s collaboration with Croc isn’t the only hyped collaboration occurring as we conclude the year of 2019. Collaborations between Nike and Off-White, Nike Viotech, and others are moving the plate tectonics of streetwear.

If you’re a novice with reselling and all the information has become overwhelming, consider purchasing the Hypemaster Playbook to walk you through the whole process.

Good luck to everyone tomorrow.

The Air Max 97 MSCHF INRI Jesus Resale Value

The 6 God and the holy kicks, it seems all too appropriate.

The Hotline Bling rapper flexed the Nike Air Max 97 “Holy Water” on his Instagram story, thus flaunting the $1,000 pair of shoes and blessing all his followers.

The sneaker retailed for $1425, by Brooklyn-based company MSCHF, and succeeded in completely revamping and enhancing the classic Nike Air Max 97 silhouette.

A DETAILED LOOK: Air Max 97 MSCHF x INRI Jesus Shoes

Released on October 8th, the sneaker embodies the classic Nike Air 97 silhouette—but with a pious upgrade.

Air Max 97 MSCHF x INRI Jesus Shoes
Air Max 97 MSCHF x INRI Jesus Shoes

The creative label MSCHF detailed the sneaker to symbolize the miracle of Jesus walking on water via Matthew 14:25.

In addition, “Matthew 14:25” is inscribed within the toe box to reference the passage in the bible when Jesus executed such a feat.

The shoe is adorned with a steel crucifix in the laces with red insoles that have been scented with Frankincense. Thus, a nod to the biblical references to The Vatican, known for their affection for red shoes and abstract jewels.

Furthermore, the sneaker’s colorway represents a muted water blue on its midsole, the Nike Swoosh on its quarter panel, and a paint-white hue throughout the sneaker.

To enhance the symbolism, “Iesus Nazaraeus Rex ludaeorum”, translating to “Jesus Nazarene, King of Jews”, is stitched on the rear of the sneaker with the acronyms INRI.

In case you didn’t know, Roman soldiers had pinned this above Jesus as the tragedy occurred on the cross.

Rounding out the last detail, but is absolutely the most significant, is that the Nike Air Max 97 iteration includes 60cc of holy water from the River Jordan.

Thus, someone wearing the sneaker is literally walking on water.

The sneaker retailed for $1425, and as most hyped sneakers do, they sold out instantly. Drake, however, managed to grab a pair.

As mentioned earlier, arguably the hottest rapper in the game was found rocking the “holier than thou” sneakers as per his Instagram story.

Air Max 97 MSCHF x INRI Jesus Shoes

Drake is known for his preference for “checks over stripes.”

Being that it’s what Drake likes, he was seen rocking these sneakers. As you would guess, the price of the sneakers skyrocketed immediately afterward.

On the resale market giant Stockx, the sneaker is now floating around an ungodly—as in outrageous—price of $4,000!

You’ve been hiding under a rock if you didn’t know Drake is a colossal figure in the rapping genre of music, however, he is also a sneaker enthusiast.

Insomuch that he has various collaborations with Jordan Brand with his OVO fashion label.

Jordan 4 OVO Raptors
Jordan 4 OVO Raptors

Drake has teamed up with various models like the Air Jordan 8, Air Jordan 10, and Air Jordan 12. This year he teamed up with Jordan Brand to release one of the more popular models—the Air Jordan 4.

Toronto Raptors Celebrating

This specific pair of sneakers was a nod to the NBA team of Toronto. In case you don’t keep up with the NBA, the Toronto Raptors won their franchise-first championship this year.

Jordan 4 OVO Raptors
Jordan 4 OVO Raptors

Being that Drake represents Toronto—and Canada as a whole—it was only opportunistic for himself and Jordan brand to quickly design the ever-popular Jordan 4 in the Toronto Raptors purple and red colorway.

Also, the sneaker sold out instantly.

“OVO” Air Jordan 10s
“OVO” Air Jordan 10s

Drake’s collaboration with Jordan Brand produced the “OVO” Air Jordan 10s, in a flashy all-gold colorway.

Did I say colorway? These pairs actually are made up of real gold, however, you can’t get these pairs.

There is only one, and it’s owned only by October’s Very Own.

Air Jordan XII "OVO"
Air Jordan XII “OVO”

Another OVO and Jordan Brand partnership results in a classic Air Jordan XII, which boasts an all-white colorway with gold hints on the Jumpman.

Drake has influenced price jumps on other sneakers as well. Here, we see courtside Drake rocking a pair of an already hype sneaker, the Travis Scott Air Force 1.

Drake isn’t the only public figure that can push the needle of various sneakers in the resale market. Is it safe to say an artist can push the market of his own line?

Travis Scott did.

In the year of 2019 thus far, Travis Scott has released three signature shoes with his Jordan Brand collaboration.

His contribution with the Jordan 1 Low still boasts an extremely high resale price.

If you look on the graph, you’ll see a brief jump around August 19th after Travis himself posted on his Instagram story verifying his fans that the Travis Jordan 1 lows were not going to be releasing again.

This is a direct result of how hip-hop influencers—and public figures alike—can shift the market.

The Air Max 97 MSCHF INRI Jesus are still doing extremely well in the resale market and if you were lucky enough to grab a pair, you could have not only made a huge sum of money on a quick-flip but even more after Drake’s post.

Shoe collaborations with public figures are not uncommon in the sneaker community, but when someone with Drake’s status promotes such a sneaker, it will always bode well.

As a sneaker reseller, beginners or veterans in the game, it will be beneficial for you to get up-to-date news when celebrities are seen rocking hype shoes.

Following the Six Figure Sneakerhead Instagram and email list will assure you don’t miss a thing as the Yeezy 350 v2 black restock and Nike CLOT Fragments are right around the corner.

Air Jordan 1 Mid “Maison Chateau Rouge” Release Information

For a switch up of the slew of Air Jordan 1 high’s of 2019 (many of them profitable like the recent Nike Air Jordan 1 High Shattered Backboard, the Mid top variation is getting love like it never has before.

As part of the Jordan brand’s “Fearless” collection,  which was primarily dropped throughout November 2019, the “Maison Chateau Rouge” is one of the most highly anticipated–and for a reason.

Let’s take a look at some on foot flicks of these kicks, valuable information about the brand and how you can buy these.

Detailed Look: Maison Chateau Rouge Air Jordan 1 Mid

Official detailed shot from @maisonchateaurouge

It just takes one up close picture to understand that if you rock these shoes, people are gonna look, sneakerhead or not.

Don’t be surprised if you get compliments all day, so it’s almost worth even buying these for a good resale price.

An official Nike on foot side shot
Via Nike

The red and blue contrast nicely to the yellow and white, and of course one can’t ignore the detailed embroidery.

Ok they look nice, but what’s the big deal with the brand?

Turns out, Nike picked them out for many awesome reasons.

Here’s a little bit about the brand.

Maison Chateau Rouge

The brand’s founder Youssouf Fofana via The Socialite Family (2018)

Paris based fashion brand Maison Chateau Rouge has an eye catching tagline / mission:

Coutumes et traditions africaines établies à Paris depuis peu…

Translation: African customs and traditions established in Paris recently …

Perhaps better said is a quote directly from the founder himself:

(Maison Chateau Rouge) is a pop lifestyle brand, inspired by my African heritage, and which builds on deep-rooted values with a focus on social and economic responsibility.

Maison Château Rouge is born of a desire to share African culture, to open it up and make it accessible.

-Youssouf Fofona (source)

This mission of bringing African culture to the people through a French brand is the doing of Youssouf Fofana, twenty-something African-Parisian who is doing quite the justice by bringing a presence of a underrepresented minority in a stereotypically mono racial world of France.

The name, after all, is named after the “Little Africa” of Paris.

Lookbook styles from the brand show where the shoe’s inspiration came from.

Over the short lifespan of the brand, Maison Chateau Rouge has attracted positive attention with its perfectly balanced style that attracts attention with bright colors and the use of wax.

The brand’s local charity work is noteworthy as well, so we are happy to spotlight and support him–for this instance, it almost looks like they don’t really need it.

In November 2019, Youssouf seems to have gotten a big break: Since its debut in 2015,  their time in the sneakerhead spotlight is now: the multibillion dollar shoe resale market took notice of them and their Air Jordan 1 Mid.

Resale Pricing Projections

With current profits in the hundreds of dollars per pair across all sizes, it’s no wonder that tons of people are trying their best to get them.

Prices on StockX. Check current price here.

The data on StockX is showing that resale profits of the Maison Chateau Jordan 1 Mid are roughly $300-$500 per pair above its retail price of $130.

This is quite the juicy opportunity, especially for those who know how to get multiple pairs.

Although this drop in particular may fly under the radar more so than something from the insanely lucrative Off-White brand, it still won’t be easy to get them.

Here are a few tips, including a sitelist and some time tested buying tips that should give you a slight edge.

Sitelist and Release Information

The Maison Chateau Rouge Air Jordan 1 Mid is set to release worldwide on Saturday, November 30th 2019.

Here are the places you can buy them:

These sitelists are subject to change.

One example of how these shoe drops change and need up to date news is the shock SNKRS drop which happened in Paris.

A shot from the SNKRS App

Reservations for pickup were available in a 15 minute window, and people in cook groups got the latest info and were able to reserve.

Although this particular one was in Paris, they happen frequently in US cities as well.

We will update this article as we can, but for live updates with a full list of release links and times, check out our Cook Group here, which includes both US and European markets.

How to Buy

Mark your calendars for Saturday November 30th, 2019. The release time on SNKRS in the US is 10AM EST, and an early 7AM call for our friends on the west coast.

You can of course just test your luck and go after these manually right when they drop.

These will likely sell out in seconds, which is why many people use sneaker bots–here’s a quick guide on how to use them here.

How to Sell

If you’re lucky or skilled enough to have required a pair or a few, you’ll have to put them on the resale market.

Using all the different platforms can be confusing, so you can check out our write up here on a comparison from GOAT to eBay and more.

The reason we wrote the Hypemaster Playbook was to piece together all of the steps necessary and leave no stone unturned when it comes to the shoe resale market.

Yeezy Boost 350 v2 Black Restock!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! As one of the most amazing years in terms of sneaker releases draws to a close all of you in the know are gearing up for one of the most hectic and profitable periods that the calendar has to offer.

We have been blessed throughout the year with some of the most amazing releases including: Off White x MCA’s Air Force 1’s, a bevy of Travis Scott Jordan’s’ (Air Force 1’s, Jordan 6’s, Retro Low 1’s, Retro High 1’s), a stack of rare Jordan colorways and an absolute Armageddon of Yeezy releases across the year in both reflective and static versions.

The looming craziness of Cyber Monday, Black Friday and the overall push for gifts leading into Christmas is starting to hit home – prices for shoes are starting to increase slowly as demand grows the closer we inch to Christmas.

Black Friday is coming! Source; Google

No stranger to causing hype and cashing in on hype is Yeezus himself – yes we have seen a number of amazing silhouette and color drops across 2019 but it would seem that Kanye will not be caught being a grinch and has plenty of gifts in store until the end of 2019. Still bookmarked for release in 2019 are the; 500 High, 700 V3’s, 350 v2 YEEZREEL, 350 v2 YECHIEL, 380 Alien and possibly the Foam Runner. One thing we almost know for certain is that we are all going to be seeing a re-release of the amazingly popular 350 v2 Black before the end of November!

The Night Before Yeezmas – Image Source: YouTube

Originally released on June 7th in both the Reflective and Static versions the 350 v2 Black’s were an absolute hit before they even dropped. Disappearing online and from retail stores shelves in mili-seconds the black colorway caused a stir when the initial images were dropped and has assisted the 350v2 silhouette in quickly becoming the most popular silhouette in the whole Yeezy line-up.

350 v2 Black Details

We likely wont aww any difference in the 350v2 Black compared to the previous drop in this colorway – still one of the most stunning colorways on the market and on the 350 v2 silhouette this colorway is nothing short of stunning. Prime knit uppers mixed with the articulated sock liner, contrasting laces and complementing red stitching on the hell pull tab certainly make this shoe easy on the eye.

The semi-translucent midsole and flecked 3M reflective laces add extra detail to the shoe that pays homage to the Pirate Black 350. There is no doubt that the demand will hold strong for the static colorway of the 350 v2 black, you don’t even have to be a Yeezy fan to appreciate how good these look on feet or even displayed on a shelf.

Yeezy 350 v2 Black, Image Source; Hypebeast

We will be seeing a full size family run, meaning that you can pick up a pair for you toddler or baby if you decide you all want to match on your trips out. No confirmation has come in as of yet whether we will be receiving a restock of the Reflective colorway but if we do expect the shoes to fly off the shelves at around the same pace as what they did before.

If we do end up seeing a Reflective re-stock, we can expect the colorway to match the previous versions with the prime knit uppers interwoven with 3M reflective threads to create a dazzling display at night or under flash. Naturally expect if the Reflective versions do end up dropping that the stock levels will be very low and this will aid in the resale price of the static versions.

350 v2 Black, Resale

Where do we even start on the resale of these bad boys?  While there is no confirmation on a restock of the Reflective colorway we would be amiss to not mention them if they do end up dropping. If you take a look at any reseller stores or websites the Reflective’s in any colorway generally kill. But when talking about one of the most popular and best looking 350 v2 colorways in Reflective well that’s just another level!

Current resale for Reflective’s across the most popular online marketplaces are below, you can expect this to hold steady on the release slated for 29.11 if they end up dropping, even with increase amount of stock in the market the Reflective’s are always in high demand. Naturally the Return on Investment (ROI) for the below is astronomical, but when you weigh in the low stock numbers, sheer good looks and such a high demand silhouette its not surprising;

Size Colorway Retailer Retail price ($) Resale Price ($) Profit ($) ROI %
US 8 350 v2, Black Reflective StockX $220 $1,700 $1,480 672%
US 8 351 v2, Black Reflective Stadium Goods $220 $2,863 $2,643 1,201%
US 8 352 v2, Black Reflective Goat $220 $1,645 $1,425 647%
US 8 353 v2, Black Reflective Flight Club $220 $2,064 $1,844 838%
Average $2,068 $1,848 840%

Don’t be disheartened if you don’t end up getting yourself a pair of Reflective’s if they drop, the Static versions in adults, infants and toddlers will still provide decent returns, especially if you can secure 2+ pairs in high demand sizes.

Expect the resale on these to dip a little as the stock levels available in the market will increase but expect the resale to hover around the listed prices below due to the high demand of this great colorway:

Size Colorway Retailer Retail price ($) Resale Price ($) Profit ($) ROI %
US 8 350 v2, Black Static StockX $220 $414 $194 88%
US 8 350 v2, Black Static Stadium Goods $220 $639 $419 190%
US 8 350 v2, Black Static Goat $220 $325 $105 48%
US 8 350 v2, Black Static Flight Club $220 $346 $126 57%
Average $431 $211 96%
3Y 350 v2, Black Static StockX $160 $264 $104 65%
3Y 350 v2, Black Static Stadium Goods $160 $308 $148 93%
3Y 350 v2, Black Static Goat $160 $308 $148 93%
3Y 350 v2, Black Static Flight Club $160 $312 $152 95%
Average $298 $138 86%
6K 350 v2, Black Static StockX $140 $300 $160 114%
6K 350 v2, Black Static Stadium Goods $140 $425 $285 204%
6K 350 v2, Black Static Goat $140 $329 $189 135%
6K 350 v2, Black Static Flight Club $140 $308 $168 120%
Average $341 $201 143%

A quick glance at the above will show that investing in any of the above pairs will issue you with a decent  ROI, however on closer inspection the infant sizes surprisingly are outperforming adult and kids sizes easily!

This might be based on the limited stock of these shoes or the general low entry price point, but don’t sleep on the infant sizes if you can grab some pairs!

350 v2 Black, Fully Family Run – Image Source: YeezyMafia

350 v2 Blacks where to buy and which sizes to aim for

Expect to see the full family size run drop at a mix between online and retail locations.

Without a doubt we will see a drop of both pairs on Yeezy Supply and Adidas as well as the Adidas App. Securing a pair through these channels will require some skill as they are known to not only receive heavy bot traffic but also general public traffic during drop times.

There is no confirmation of raffles through other locations however don’t be surprised if we start to see raffles open up from standard sources such as End, SNS, Kith, KicksOnFire and a few other sites around 5-10 days before the official drop date.

Chasing sizes for the Yeezy drop is going to really help your resale – for the ‘Reflective’ models any size will give you profit, naturally if you are able to secure the smaller US4.5 – US 8.5 range you are going to be getting a higher resale.

However, you’ll want to be targeting any sizes in the adults, kids and toddlers ‘Static’ models. The sheer demand for this colorway is unprecedented so demand will be very high even with the stock numbers increasing.

Where possible targeting the smaller sizes (US4.5 – US 8.5 range) in the adults sizes will garner you the highest returns on your investment, however don’t be afraid to also target the larger foot sizes (US 12 +) as these have also proven to be profitable.

The same applies for the infants and the toddlers sizes, anywhere between the 5K – 6.5K (infants) and 1.5Y – 3.5Y (kids) will be your best bets for instant profits, even more so if you are able to secure multiple pairs in any of the above sizes.

Complexcon LA 2019: Sneaker Release List

Since its debut in 2016 in Long Beach CA, Complexcon has worked hard to hold up to its many taglines:

“The Future Made Physical”

“The groundbreaking festival (that) brings together pop culture, music, food, innovation, activism, education & more.”

As an intersection of pop culture, music, and fashion, it’s a hypebeast’s playground here (what’s a hypebeast?).

banner Complexcon 2017
ComlexCon 2017: https://www.complexcon.com/

Sponsored and created by multimedia conglomerate Complex, who is on the pulse of culture creation, it’s no surprise that this event attracts some of the best designers in fashion and footwear.

Rare footwear drops have become a staple at Complexcon, making it an attractive opportunity for people getting rich off of flipping sneakers.

2016 is a prime example of shoes and merch with insane, sometimes $7000+ resale value–check Complex’s report on 2016 resale prices here.

For 2019, for the first time since Complexcon’s birth, the crowd had a chance to choose between two cities and dates: Chicago’s event was July 20th & 21st, and Los Angeles (Long Beach) was on November 2nd and 3rd.

Both had resellable shoes that made some lucky attendees a few hundred a piece if they were in it for the flip — or a rare souvenir to keep.

Let’s take a look at what went down in the world of kicks with this now historic event.

(For an insider’s look at the cultural and music recap of the event, check out Respect My Region’s write up here).

Complexcon Chicago JUly 2019 Footwear drops

Chicago did not disappoint its first year, and was arguably just as good if not better than LA when it came to the footwear it came out with.

Nike x  Off White “Chicago MCA Blue”: Resale Value $1500-$2000+
virgil abloh instagram air force 1 blue mca on feet
An exclusive on foot look from @virgilabloh on Instagram from December 2018. Check current price on Stockx here.

An absolute classic and highly coveted shoe from Virgil’s iconic Off-White, which merges art and fashion arguably better than any brand in 2019.

The resale market definitely agrees with that previous statement, read up on the brand and why it’s so hot here.

Nike x Atmos Animal Pack 3.0: Resale Value $300-$400
atmos japan animal pack 3.0 release pictures
Image from Atmos Japan of the 3.0 Animal Pack. Check current price on Stockx here.

Japanese brand Atmos is low key and high key at the same time, falling perfectly into the category of “if you know, you know”.

This time around, for Complexcon Chicago exclusively, they re-released their Animal Pack, which is in its third iteration.

These are anything but low key and turn heads of all different classes of onlookers, so it’s not surprising they sold out fast.

Eric Emanuel Allen Iverson x Reebok “Answer 5”: Resale Value $250-300+
Price of the Eric Emanuel Question 5 Complexcon on StockX. Check current price here.

Allen Iverson may be somewhat forgotten for the younger generation of NBA fans, but for millenials and older, he’s still one of the GOATs.

It’s nice to see him popping onto the shoe resale scene–and seeing prices like this will make it much less surprising that shoe reselling is a growing billion dollar pie.

Joshua Vides x Converse: Resale Value $200-$300

Deconstructed and beat down looks are at a high note in the streetwear world, and these velcro’d out Chucks are a prime example.

In his signature sketch-to-real life style, Guatemalan artist Joshua Vides pulls off some serious swag with this pair.

Timberland Construct: 10061: Resale Value $500-$1500
From eBay, a $1500 ask.

Riding on the coattails of boundary crushing streetwear trends is the classic Timberland.

Its staple boots have been splashed with colors before, but this time around at Complexcon 2019 we saw the most drastic change yet with a hybrid and experimental “Construct 10061” take on their 6 inch boots.

Only 61 were made, so it’s not surprising that we’re seeing pairs going for over $1000 the retail price on eBay.

Complexcon Long Beach November 2019 Footwear drops

About 1 hour south of LA, the masses came down to Snoop’s very own Long Beach to celebrate, among many other things.

Here are the drops from the weekend:

Nike x Atmos: Resale Value $200-$250
Image via Complex of the AF1 and Air Barrage Mid

Atmos hit LA with a colorful “Pop the Street” collection on both the classic Air Force 1 low and the largely unknown Barrage Mid.

Both have seen solid resale prices, surprisingly so for the latter, less popular of the two.

From eBay. Check the current price on StockX here.
Results on Google make it easy to see how valuable a color switch up can make a normally overlooked shoe like the Barrage Mid. Check current StockX price here.
Sneaker Room x Nike Kyrie 5: Resale Value $500-$1000
Check current price on Stockx here.

A limit of 126 pairs only makes this Kyrie collection, which is a heartfelt tribute to the love of his mother, insanely valuable.

He’s done this before with Kyrie 3’s that are going for over $1000 per pair for the 2017 versions, so it wouldn’t be surprising if this pair rises in the future.

Prices on GOAT. Check current price on Stockx here.

K-Swiss x GaryVee 005 GV005 “Complexcon Coral”: Resale Value $250-$500+
From @kswiss IG

Russian-American entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuck aka GaryVee has become a household name and meme in the world of entrepreneurship.

He speaks highly of sneaker resellers and encourages them to participate in this market–check out his incredibly inspirational video for sneaker flippers here.

It’s fitting then that GaryVee rolled out a limited pair of sneakers of his own, and despite his name being on a semi-whack brand, it’s selling out–at least in the ComplexCon Coral version.

Adidas NMD R1 “GSNK”: Resale Value $200-$300
Official from AtmosNYC on Facebook.

Atmos is one of the few brands to be in bed with both Nike and Adidas.

Its “Snakeskin” take on the NMD R1 is less popular than its Nike collab, but still has a hype audience of its own.

Li Ning Essence 2 ACE Way of Wade x Rick Ross: Resale Value $200-$300
From HipHopWired. Check current price on Stockx here.

You can almost bet that if a rapper is famous, he’s gonna have a pair of shoes, even if it’s with a brand most people have never heard of.

This is the case with Rick Ross and Li-Ning’s “Essence”. The brand is actually pretty popular in China, where it was founded in 1990.

It seems that Rick Ross with the help of Dwayne Wayde is helping to bring this brand to the spotlight to the masses, given that his Complexcon version is actually reselling.

You may have heard of the Billionaire Boys Club, but you may not know that mastermind artist Pharrell Williams is the man behind this brand.

In the traditionally ice-cream colorful pastel palatte, we see a collab with Reebok for Complexcon 2019.

Pairs went fast and are among the few Reeboks that are actually flipping for decent cash, making a select few in the know up to $200+ per pair.

Takashi Murakami Crocs: Resale Value $200-$300+
Official Complexcon image of the famous crocs.

Japanese artist Takashi Murakami’s eye catching pop art has caught the attention of both collectors who pay millions and brands who want his name associated with them.

Even Louis Vuitton had a 13 year long collaboration with him.

As crocs are hot now, it’s fitting that Murakami chose them as the perfect canvas to splash his art on.

The resale market took notice as the hype of the $85 pair has people paying up to $400 on the aftermarket per pair.

Chinatown Market Puma “Complexcon Pink”: Resale Value $200-$300
Official image

NYC’s Chinatown Market is another streetwear brand that’s being lifted by collabs with well known commercial entities that need artists to give them the “hip” advantage.

Whether or not they’re selling out is a question that only the individual can answer, but either way, from Converse to Puma, their kicks have turned up dope.

This loud literal pink panther (clever huh, Puma=panther) has semi-transparent mesh uppers and strong yellow branding, making it yet another hot commodity that attendees were given exclusive grabs at.

Wrapping up, is it worth going to Complexcon just for shoes?

Short answer: yes, but even if you’re there, realize that you might end up empty handed if it’s the hottest kicks–being part of an insider community gives you an edge on copping the most exclusive kicks.

So maybe it’s best to go just for the music, or enjoy it for what it is: a work of art.

New Yeezy 380 Alien : Resale Value and Buying Guide

Alas, the wait is finally over. The Yeezy Boost 380 v1 Alien is coming.

While many of the Yeezy 350 v2 colorways are still sought out, sneakerheads can all relate that the repeated Yeezy v2 releases have been tiring, to say the least.

This loss of interest has been evident in the resale market, as one of the most recent Yeezy v2, the Yeezy 350 Cloud Whites, are just a hair above retail price despite optimistic initial projections.

It’s very fitting then that these are now called the 380s rather than the 350 v3–these guys deserve a category of their own.

Get ready for a change though because this one is worth a real bag.

All Hail Mr. West, The Alien Himself

Ye rockin the Aliens.

Ye is a master multitasker that should not be overlooked in any category he dabbles in.

One would assume his time and energy was spent towards his Sunday services and music, but its official now that he’s ready to make a big splash in the sneaker world yet again with his new addition to the famed Yeezy Boost line: the Yeezy Boost 380.

Whether you love him, hate him—or just think he’s a little insane, you can’t deny Kanye West’s influential aura.

We can’t forget the time that people were out there paying up to $90,000 for a single pair of Yeezys.

From his revolutionary music in hip-hop that’s laced with soul and inspiration, to his successful Yeezy line with Adidas, he’s set to make another benchmark and icon in his next Yeezy production.

Since the 2016 debut of the Yeezy v2, 2019 will be another landmark year in the world of Adidas and Kanye in which the Yeezy Boost 380 “Alien” is set to finally release.

Release Date: Yeezy Boost 380 “Alien”

Official Adidas image

While the official release is not yet announced, Saturday, November 16th is the date that has been floating around.

Rumors of a slight chance of an earlier, in person release date on Saturday October 26th-Sunday the 27th.

Some potential pairs of the Yeezy Aliens were said to be released at Kanye’s Jesus is King pop-up in Los Angeles on October 27th celebrating his new album.

These kinds of rumors and updates will be something of the norm before any hyped shoe of this caliber has a solidified release.

Resale value: Yeezy 380 Alien

With all that being said, it is important to note that the Yeezy Boost 380 Alien will retail at $230, a small bump to the Yeezy v2 collection’s retail of $225.

The release will absolutely come in limited quantities, and with a long-awaited shoe like this one, the profitability is a no-brainer.

Online sneaker reselling platforms like Stockx and Goat has already set the resale market value high for the shoe pre-release.

As expected, a limited release of this capacity will demand a resale value above $1,000.

We’ve seen these types of resale value only in higher-tier sneakers such as the Travis Scott and Jordan line and Virgil’s Off-White line. Enter Kanye West’s Yeezy Boost 380 Alien, in which we see the value for a size 9 is starting at $1,200.

Price range from $1200 up to $2200 on StockX. Check the current price for the Aliens here.

Making Money by Flipping the 380 Alien

Ok this came up on Google and clearly no one’s gonna buy at this price, but the seller might get lucky, who knows.

As mentioned prior, the retail value of the shoe is just $230, with a potential profit of up to $1000+ per pair—so make sure you grab a pair when these drop.

In addition, grabbing a pair of these and holding on to them may be most beneficial as a stockmarket-beating sneaker investor.

This begs the question, why not just buy and sell these shoes immediately?

While that is always an option, it’s important to note that the first shoe of any long-term line almost always performs the best in the resale market.

For example let’s review the Yeezy 380’s cousin, the 350 v2, and one of its first releases back in 2016—the Yeezy Boost 350 Pirate Black.

The ever-classic Yeezy Boost Pirate Black colorway first hit the streets on February 19th of 2016 and is still being bought and sold at a high price point to this day in the resale market. Similar to the Yeezy Boost Aliens hype today, these shared a similar hype and resale value.

Late 2019 StockX stats

Just a couple days after the February 19th release, the resale market solidified the Pirate Black’s resale value range between $1,500 to $1,000—although it’s declined some, they still float around $1,000 today.

Compare this to the recently released Yeezy Boost 350 Cloud Whites poor resale value that was mentioned earlier.

Between 2016 and 2019, there was an abundant of different colorways that released before the Cloud Whites—as a result, the resale profit is minimal.

This comparison was drawn to underscore the monetary significance of the 2019 Yeezy Boost 380 Aliens, and the extremely high resale value it will hold throughout time, as it will go down in history as the first shoe of Kanye’s long-awaited hyped 380 line.

How and Where To Purchase: Sitelist for Yeezy 380 Alien

When it comes to Yeezy and Adidas releases, there are certain stores that you will be able to purchase at retail value.

While the official stores are yet to be announced, there are some stores that will most likely have these shoes in stock on the November 16th release day.

We will update this article as we find out more. Live, full site list and immediate news from our high end product monitors is available to members of our cook group.

Manual methods will give you an edge on this drop, and those with in depth bot knowledge can be in for a $5,000 weekend with multiple pairs.

Enough about the dollars! Let’s dive into the aesthetics and design of the shoe, and why it appeals the sneakerhead community.

Details: Yeezy Boost 380 Alien

When images of the  Aliens first released, many critics spoke negatively about its design altogether.

Initial hate seems to be the norm, because as the release date is getting closer, the hype and its appeal has only increased.

The reason of the appeal is due to the refreshing silhouette’s stark difference in the tiresome and monotonous Yeezy Boost 350 design.

The new line being dubbed “380” makes sense, as the 350 v2’s had the 350 imprint on its midsole.

With that being absent, there lies a midsole that includes a sleek design of small holes.

There is a full prime-knit upper and unique gel in those said holes, presumably for shoe structure purposes—so it doesn’t just implode.

Here’s a very clear in person look from @koala_hsh

As you can see, the shoe boasts a unique gray and light gray design throughout the prime-knit that screams “outer-space”—fitting the “Alien” title.

The shoe bottom’s boost technology still remains for aesthetic and comfort purposes, consisting in a subtle lime-green colorway.

There was obviously a copious amount of ideas and details that were involved in the engineering of this shoe, and the results are evident.
